Stamping Lubricants
VS
Formulated to be a universal lubricant to stamp out a wide range of metal components. Provides maximum die life with non-abrasive polishing agents. The lubricant mechanism contains extreme pressure and anti-wear agents for light to medium-duty stamping.
Designed for progressive dies and multi-forming operations. VS was awarded full approval by Ford Motor Company in 1997 and is used on automotive car frames. This water-based, micro-emulsion provides excellent lubricity. The product will not separate or build up in dies and is easily cleaned. It can be welded through without wash.
OVS
Designed to provide more extreme pressure and anti-wear additives for medium to heavy-duty stamping. This product can be used on thicker gauged steels and provides lubrication for a wider range of high temperatures for metal deformation.
A water-based product designed to clean easily and weld without wash, OVS has provided the stamping industry a cleaner choice to replace many soluble oils needed for stainless steel and high strength steel. Several exhaust component manufacturers use this product on mufflers and heat shields. This product will not get sticky or tacky, which helps extend tool life.
HDP
Designed to cover the heavy-duty range of parts. HDP has the highest EP package of the water-based stamping lubricants. The lubrication mechanism combines extreme pressure, barrier and anti-wear that provides a stamping lubricant and drawing compound in one.
This water-based lubricant combines barrier and extreme pressure additives for heavy-duty drawing and stamping operations. HDP has replaced straight oils on 0.250 high strength steel control arms and wrap-ups for suspension systems. It also works effectively on stainless steel and can be welded without wash.
