ULTRACUT® 255R is an extreme-pressure water-soluble oil for heavy-duty machining, grinding and sawing of all metals - including hard-to-machine alloys. Its exceptional biostability provides long-term operational tank life when properly maintained, and the addition of chlorinated and non-chlorinated EP additives provides extended tool life.Â
Designed to give long and predictable sump life in the milling, drilling and broaching of ferrous and nonferrous metals, ULTACUT® 255R contains a high percentage of refined mineral oil which affords a high degree of residual corrosion protection and lubricity while machining. ULTRACUT® 255R provides stable pH performance and controls bacteria/fungal growth, rancidity and unpleasant odors.
